Wireless Sync Phones to TV

I know that this article is a bit off topic for us at Peach OSI but one of us stumbled upon this ability the other day and I thought I would share this with you. Did you know that you can use your smart phone, tablet, or computer to control the YouTube experience on a Smart TV. Just make sure your phone, tablet, or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV device.  You also have the option to link with a TV code. Read on to find out how.

Link with Wi-Fi

To get started make sure your phone, tablet, or computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your TV device, select Cast  on your phone, tablet, or computer.

Note that Cast works with any TV device that can support the YouTube experience on TV, not just Chromecast.

There are so many good applications out there that take the Home Theater PC to new heights that we here at Peach OSI had an itchy trigger finger to take what we had already been using ourselves personally for over a year and make it suitable for Linux HTPC users on a broader scale. Then Microsoft 10 rolled out and we all found out that the "all knowing" developers at MS up and decided to not include Media Center in their new OS release. That left many Media Center users high and dry if they updated to Windows 10.
